TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

Tab Trade - The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail matters. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres institutional desks use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would round things out once it is live.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker has no minimum.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The execution is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Combine those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It does inform how you think about it.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
